OXYTETRACYCLINE THERAPY IN REPEAT BREEDERS

Abstract

Non-specific infection constitutes one of the major cause for breeding failure in repeat-breeder cows (Namboodiripad et al., 1976). The present trial was conducted with the aim to evaluate the efficacy of therapeutic dose rate of oxytetracycline parentally in repeat breeders. Systemic administration of antibiotics was reported to have better advantage than local administration (Gustafsson, 1984).
