Abstract

Preputial prolapse is reported in polled European cattle breeds (Long, 1969). Common factors responsible for this condition include habitual masturbation, heredity, fibrosis and oedema in heavy breeds of Indian origin such as Red Sindhi, Gir and Kankrej (Hafez et al., 1987).
