Abstract

The type of microorganisms involved in endometritis and their antibiotic sensitivity pattern was studied in 205 crossbred cows. Staphylococcus species were most prevalent followed by Streptococcus among gram positive organisms. Among gram negative organisms E. coli and pseudomonas were prevalent. The study revealed that highest number of isolates were sensitive to Gentamicin (80.9_8%) while only 20% isolates were sensitive to Oxytetracycline.
